Healthcare Access and Education Campaign

Access to affordable healthcare is a growing problem across the United States. Here in Lorain County, Ohio PIRG is working to address local healthcare access and affordability, with an emphasis on women's health issues. 

Currently, Ohio PIRG is focusing on making sure that at least 50% of the pharmacies in Lorain County supply birth control, and providing information for the Oberlin community about HPV and its vaccine. We are also helping local health services educate the community about a variety of health matters, while doing direct service with community groups that work on similar issues.
